PLASTIC CR-39 plastic lenses are a good value option, but are not shatter-resistant and therefore not recommended for kids or impact sports. FROM $0

POLYCARBONATE Very strong, very light, and resistant to scratches and breaking. Recommended for kids and impact sports. FROM $10

TRIVEX Trivex is a lens material that is comparable to polycarbonate but has better visual acuity. FROM $10

HIGH-INDEX The thinnest and lightest eyeglass lenses are the high-index lenses, such as 1.66 and 1.74. FROM $10

SCRATCH-RESISTANT COATING Lenses are inherently soft, so a hard and durable scratch-resistant coating is applied to keep your lenses looking newer, longer. INCLUDED

UV PROTECTION Your eyes can be damaged with exposure to the sun, so adding a UV protective coating to your lenses is imperative. This is a clear coating, so it can be applied to sunglass lenses and clear lenses. INCLUDED

LENS POLISH For a clean and finished look, a lens polish will make the edges of your lenses shiny. This is especially recommended for higher prescriptions and rimless frames as it hides the thickness of your lenses. $0
