I own about thirty watches from $200 up to $5k in both quartz and automatic including two other standard Tissot Gentleman’s one green one black. I really like the quick release bracelet on the open heart model. Makes strap changes a breeze with minimal risk of case lug scratching. The watch is running (-1) on the wrist 12 hrs. I prefer to be on the positive side but I’m not complaining. I wish this Gentleman watch had the same ultra non magnetic Silicum hair spring as the standard dial watches but I’m sure it has to do with the “see through open heart” dial. This does have a 25 jewel movement so no synthetic pallet fork. Not that I mind, there are some advantages to high tech polymers. There are many watch enthusiasts who do not like ETA’s switch to the “non adjustable” hair spring but again I do not mind as it is a more stable/consistent system. Before I get off into the weeds let me say these Gentleman’s watches are just about the perfect size and weight. Jus5 a heads up these watches use a high polish bezel which is a scratch magnet. Not to worry though.. New ones can be had direct from Tissot/Swatch for $27.00 plus shipping.
My experience with Luxury Direct was exceptional. Their reviews are less than stellar but not in my case. I have ordered 20+ watches online from various AD’s and “gray market” dealers with no complaints. If apprehensive make sure to use a good credit card or Pay-Pal/Apple Pay for some added protections. I can not speak to their customer service because I did not need any. From watch order to receipt was four days. Absolutely no complaints.
Do yourself a favor and get one of these Gentleman. You will not be disappointed.
